yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 9:35 p.m. PDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain. This thunderstorm moving northwest at 40 km/h and is currently over Sunshune Hills / west Surrey and Highway 91 area and will be moving through New Westminister shortly. An additional thunderstorm is approaching the White Rock area of the southeast. ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
