Discussion: Heavy rain will continue today as a strong low pressure system moves into northwestern Ontario. The heavy rain will taper to light rain tonight and become mixed with or change to snow, with minor snowfall accumulations possible. In addition, strong northerly winds gusting up to 70 km/h will gradually diminish later today. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Utility outages may occur.
