In southwest Louisiana, Allen, Northern Acadia, Northern Calcasieu, Northern Jefferson Davis, Southern Acadia, Southern Calcasieu, Southern Jefferson Davis and Upper Vermilion. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is forecast this afternoon into evening. The next statement will be issued Saturday morning at 1015 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bayou Des Cannes near Eunice. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.8 feet, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT 18 STRUCTURES NEAR THE BAYOU WILL BE FLOODED. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Friday was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
