Up to 7 inches of rain fell overnight and many creeks and streams are still in flood. The most significant flooding has occurred around Sapello. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will impact Gallinas Creek and Sapello River. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Hermits Peak - Calf Canyon Burn Scar. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
