Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Smith, Upshur and Wood Counties. For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater, Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River near Hawkins. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Expect flooded boatramps and several hundreds of acres of pastures. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 24.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 31.7 feet Thursday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet. Do not drive cars through flooded areas. . .
